Mission Statement

The mission of the Coalition is to secure access for boaters, fishers, water skiers, riparian owners and other interested parties to use Florida waters for recreational and commercial purposes by monitoring, initiating, and participating in legislation, rulemaking, litigation, and any and all other efforts that might affect such access and taking any necessary steps to promote and safeguard that access. The Coalition will operate to increase boater access to Florida waters by supporting the construction of additional boat launch ramps, marinas, and docks, and the Coalition will operate to assure a balance between boating safety, natural resource protection, and the economic and social benefit of citizen and tourist usage of the waters of the state of Florida.
